Hi...the Winged Weeder point is used for digging out the weed..the blades are used for cutting the weeds off at the surface...I made the mistake of loaning the tool to my aunt and now she refuses to return it...then had the nerve to ask where I bought it, so that her friends can buy one...she is not allowing them to borrow it. I can't complain to much, she gave me an antique ring. Great must have tool...
